I'm so sorry, J. You are right, that kind of thing IS too hard, and it's not fair that you and your family have to go through two deaths in such a short period of time.
Work will survive; it has no choice anyway.

Man. That really sucks. I'm terribly sorry that you have to go through this now. Unfortunately, families often go through things like this where multiple members die within a short span of time. I remember when I was a kid, we went to three funerals in the space of two months or something like that. Tomorrow, I'm going to my fourth funeral in the space of a year...and this is my second this month. :(
I am so sorry to hear that... Losing grandparents sucks, but it seems like when it's the last one it makes one more acutely aware of the big space that's left in its wake.
