Do Not Touch The Big Red Button

I believe this is the motto that [livejournal.com profile] lj_maintenance is trying to tell us. What's sad in so many ways is that I've had that exact same problem in my employer's Data Center. We ended up not only labelling the Button, but putting a plastic cover over it that you have to break to be able to push the Button.

I was going to write an omnibus last night to bring everyone up to speed on my life, but LJ was busted (see above) so that sort of got put by the wayside. The good news is that I took notes, so I can write it tonight! Go me!

More tonight.

Is it a jolly, candy-like button?

Let me think....

No, no it is most certainly not jolly, nor is it candy-like.

That was an evil quote, Tallears. :P

We haven't had that problem yet, though cell phones have triggered halon systems a couple times. We've since ditched the NexTel DirectConnect phones and the old Halon system. The new Nokia phones and the new Inergen fire suppression system don't seem to argue.
