Around lunchtime today I got an e-mail from our webmaster, pointing me to this article from the fine folks over at Onion.

Man, I didn't stop laughing for a good ten minutes.

I didnt find it that funny for the most part, just somewhat disturbing at how simular it was to my field-technician job back in 1995. Then I got to this gem:

"Sometimes, I think what I'd like to do is find all those DeVry students from those ads and beat the living shit out of them."

Yes, indeed. Its not the parody of IT-drudgery thats funny (its too close to the mark) its the uncannily appropriate reaction. :)
