Friday had a very good start to it. I woke up sort of early, staggered out of my bedroom and made my way towards the bathroom to attend to the tasks that must be attended to in the morning. On my way back I stopped in the kitchen to make breakfast for myself and said hello to Roho, who was already awake and dressed for work (damn his job for letting him keep proper working hours). He swiveled around in his chair and said with a large grin, "Oh, I think somebody you want to see is online. You should go log in." I all but sprinted into my bedroom, booted up my computer and logged on to say hello to that special someone who has been long absent online. It was wonderful to actually get to speak to her after these last three weeks of quiet, and she seemed pleased enough to see me as well. I think we spent two and a half hours or so just talking, catching up on recent events and sharing company. It was a wonderful way to begin my day, and I regretted seeing her log off at 1000. It was for the best though since I needed to get out the door and on the road to the office. I like to give myself an hour for the drive down there since construction has traffic all screwed up. It's only a 29 mile drive and shouldn't take me more than 38 minutes but somehow that just never seems to happen anymore....

Long and rambling recount of the rest of Friday and Saturday )

It's something hard to find.
