Well heck, even I am surprised!
Jul. 21st, 2005 09:46 amI got up this morning when the alarm went off and (against my better judgement) went in to work. I've just got too many irons in the fire to let them sit for a day without planning ahead for the event, no matter how tempting it might be to stay at home and tend to other important matters. I suppose it's a good thing I did, because I've been hit with a few surprises already in the last two hours.
On the drive to the office I heard about the new round of explosions that hit the London subway. While most news outlets have been very careful not to call it a terrorist attack, I'd say this is obviously a follow up to the attacks of two weeks ago. I'm not sure what else I can say about these events, except that I'm as furious about it as I would be had the attacks occured on US soil and that I'm hoping for the best for everyone in the UK. The people perpetuating these attacks are subhuman and, with luck, will be hunted down like the insects they aspire to be.
Back to wrangling IP allocations and troubleshooting SMTP routing, along with the countless other things that are overflowing my plate today.
You'll accomp'ny me
