I answered, "Thanks. It's much appreciated."
To which he replied (without missing a heartbeat): No problem. So, that's one year closer to being able to justify that hair of yours.

It's true! If I were (more) wicked old I'd be able to justify this hair. ;)

In today's day-after-the-birthday news...

Today was another quiet day. I had a lovely lunch at BD's Mongolian BBQ with roho and genet, since Roho was back in town as of 11:30 or so today. I got to the restaurant a bit before they did, so I seated myself up at the bar and ordered a gin and tonic. What I was served surprised me: it was mostly gin with a splash of tonic. I should have tipped my bartender better! Shortly after I got my drink the rest of the party showed up, we were seated and got down to the business of making up our lunch.
( That's when things got strange. )
