chebutykin and her boyfriend tonight. My main agenda is simple: I want to go out with these two and eat a nice dinner. After that I figure we'll exchange belated Christmas presents, tour the Asylum and tip back a few drinks. I might crash for the night there and drive back to the farm in the morning, time will tell.
The time away from family will give me a much-needed chance to decompress, but mostly I'm looking forward to seeing my old friend and talking to her face-to-face again. It's been far too long, and I think both of us could benefit from engaging in a long night of palaver.
