This was passed on to me by a coworker, and I'm not entirely sure what to make of it. Did somebody quit taking their meds, or is this one of the more subtle and amusing internet hoaxes ever perpetuated....?

Slashdot's link to the NYT article on people making a bundle on misspelled ebay searches was fascinating.

It will keep your cat from desiring to watch that boring tripe known as Baseball! Remember Major League Baseball is watching you all, collecting data from their satellite! Ra could become addicted from their "mind influencer" ray (yes, cats have minds...that is why they are so aristocratic), and watching baseball would even be horribly, horribly boring, even for a cat.

Awww, dude, this has to be the worst timing ever. I would have said yes had I seen this before 8pm last night, but with my parents arriving it's going to be a madhouse at Z'ha'dum and I won't have any flop space at all available.
