Very slowly and painfully by selecting letters off a map on the screen. I would recommend against it.

I did it once for amusement and I plan never to do it again. It quickly grew painful.

It's basically like a telephone keypad. ABC DEF GHI, etc. If you want an 'I', you hit the GHI key three times. You can get a rhythm going on it if you really try, but mostly it's just irritating.
