Local landmark only now visited by area man.

I've driven past it perhaps dozens of times in the last five or six years, but I've never stopped there. That was taken care of last night, however, when lady_curmudgeon and I were just out for a drive in the area -- I can now officially (and with great pride) say that I have been to the Mars' Cheese Castle in Kenosha, WI.

I cite random circumstance and a deep-seated fear that I would die before I visited this local landmark as the reasons for attending.

I couldn't find any pictures of the -actual castle- on their website! Other than the dinky one on the image of their brochure on the main page!

I hope you took your camera, or no one might believe you actually visited! After all, -anyone- can link to a website and say they've been there... ;D

It's not that remarkable of a place, considering that the last time I was there was about a decade ago, there wasn't much to remember about it, and I haven't been compelled to go back. Yet I should give it another chance. I have driven past it literally hundreds of times.

I actually hit the same landmark on Sunday morning. I must have felt the warmth of your presence. I stopped with the intention of getting a bag of cheese curds, but then I did some quick mental arithmetic and calculated that that would have led to me eating a bag of cheese curds.

I'm always fascinated by the summer sausages they have in the shape of beer bottles, with Miller labels on them. I'm not a fan of summer sausage, but I'd like to have a six pack of them in my refrigerator, just so anyone who looks in there will have some idea of who they're dealing with.

Hey, you live in California or some other country, and you have a Mars Cheese Castle picture?!?! I grew up ten miles from the place and I've only set foot in the place twice. ;P
