You may now officially blow me. I have your homepage set to about:blank, yet whenever I hit CTRL-N to open a new window you piss me off. How? By immediately taking that new window and loading the URL of the old window in it. Thanks for that.

I actually prefer it to act that way, because usually when I'm ctrl-n-ing it's to follow something off of the page I'm currently on without losing that page, and I prefer keyboard shortcuts to right-clicks. What I don't understand is why ctrl-n and ctrl-t don't work in the same way.

I know what CTRL-T does in FireFox, but I have no idea what CTRL-T does in IE. This may be due to the fact that I'm running the venerable IE6 and not the s00ped-up IE7, thus depriving me of tabs. Sad milk.

In IE7, it does the tab thing. Previously, nothing.

Yeah, that's pretty much the conclusion I've had to come to. Because obviously Microsoft wants me to either upgrade to IE7 and use tabs, or just train myself to go down to the Quicklaunch bar and start another IE from the icon down there.

I can't wait until my new Sun Ultra 40 workstation arrives at the office. Then I can gruntle about something exciting and new.

Why...are you using IE instead of Firefox or Safari? O_o

IE is the halfwit that will fling the door open for any bit of spyware standing there drooling and waving an axe around.

I know Firefox still has the memory leak, but...
