Nice pictures! I'm fond of classic neon signs as well. It's not of the same vintage as the Pheasant, but there's an exterminator on Grand Avenue a little west of Mannheim with a nice striking neon rat that you might be interested in.

By the way, after having driven past it so many times, I've been thinking I'd like to try eating at the Golden Pheasant. It strikes me as one of those venerable places that I end up feeling vaguely bad about not having ever gone to when they close.

New veal pens are going up on the 2nd floor, by the by, as a place for us to stuff the consultants. Rumor has it the construction will be complete with two new FT hires to "Supervise" them. Because, you know, they need to be watched.
