Even if it were not rusty, I can tell that sign is really old. It's got the old "all suburbs" area code, and since when is towing only $105?

ETA: wait, I'm wrong. The old all 'burbs area code was 708, which still is the area code for Melrose Park. Why does it say 847? Weird.

I was all ready to carbon date it based on the reference to "Master Charge", which changed to Master Card in 1979, but the 847 area code didn't exist before 1996.

It's stupid, but Melrose Park contains both 847 and 708 exchanges.
