Sweet payback...
Sep. 6th, 2002 03:50 pmAccording to this article at CNN, Argenbright Security has been kicked to the curb. Argenbright employs about 40% of the airport security and service personnel in America's airports. I know for a fact thanks to my frequent run-ins with them during work-related travel that these guys handled security at Chicago -- and sucked more than a black hole. I feel sorry that it's going to lead to major layoffs by the company, but the way the employees stationed at O'hare acted I am starting to think that, well, they deserve it. Poetic justice and all that.
Let this be a lesson to whoever gets the mantle of "security provider" handled to them: treating travellers like shit and being completely lax in security leads to eventual removal and, I bet, the end of your company in the industry. You better look sharp.
