Boguslaw "Bogie" Witold Bugsalewicz

BATAVIA -- Boguslaw "Bogie" Witold Bugsalewicz, age 50, of Batavia passed away Friday, March 4, 2005, at Delnor-Community Hospital in Geneva.
He was born January 22, 1955, in Chicago, the son of Johann and Emilia Bugsalewicz.
Bogie was employed by DeVry University in Oak Brook as a Unix Systems Engineer until his cancer diagnosis, which he fought with such courage.
He also served in the U.S. Air Force from 1977-81.
He had a great love of cats and is survived by two feline friends, Herbie and Bumpy.
He will be dearly missed by many friends and neighbors.
He was preceded in death by his feline companion, Pooter.
Special thanks to the nursing units at Delnor-Community Hospital in Geneva and St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin for their care of Bogie throughout his illness.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until Funeral Mass is celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, March 7, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 2300 Main Street, Batavia, with the Rev. James Parker Celebrant.
Burial will follow at West Batavia Cemetery.
Arrangements by Malone Funeral Home Geneva.
