ferenI just renewed my LJ subscription. It's only $25 for a year's worth of access to faster servers and niftier features. $25 is less than you spend in a month on cigarettes or coffee, so if you haven't become a paid member already, go and get one now. You're supporting your own habit as well as the habit of the people who created it. After all they've given us, it's not too much to ask to give a little back, is it? :)

Date: 2002-09-08 10:15 am (UTC)What kind of ticked me off about the renewal, was that a few months ago I paid for something like 4 months, just to try it out, see if I prefurred the paid account to the free acount. I do because its a bit faster, and I can put it on my page (http://www.linuxkitty.com), [which I did, and it looks really good, I'm sort of proud =P]. When I paid for the year yesturday however, it didn't automatically credit me for the month of service I had left from the previous time I paid. Like instead of needing to repay for the year in sept of 2003, I would have much prefurred the month being added, and having it say I should pay in Oct 2003. Oh well, whatever.
