I tossed them in one of my Gallery directories (I truly love that program, it makes my life so very easy), which you can access by going to http://feren.black-panther.us/gallery/expedition/.

For those of you who just want some highlights I've got a few pictures listed herein that are my favorites:

  • A good starter picture.
  • Men and their cars -- a sad commentary on the love life of the typical American male.
  • A dollar for a car? You must be crazy!

    And that's about that.

    That's a nice truck.

Thanks. It's not a pickup (shorter wheelbase than an F-150, significantly less "cargo space," etc) and I miss my old truck, but this Expedition does have a few thousand more creature comforts and does a far better job at transporting people than the old 150 could have. All told it's a good compromise between the various needs I've been faced with lately. For example: the trip to Madison called for us to bring my huge green Igloo cooler with (booze must stay chilled!) as well as movies, PS-2 games, clothes and more. All that stuff never would have fit in the trunks of any of the cars. Of course the old pickup would have handled the cargo aspect no problem, I could have just thrown it all in the bed (and then hoped that we didn't get any rain), but having the three of us packed in on one bench seat would not have been terribly fun.

I suppose if I wanted cargo and people-hauling capabilities without going the SUV route I could have gotten a crew-cab F-250, but this Expedition sort of fell in my lap and the deal was far too good to turn down. I mean, a $16,500 truck for $6,500 (Well, $8,000 after all the work was done on it)? I would never have found a crewcab for that price.

    Whoah.

I ain't whoahing at the car, neither. Good lord, qat, you've turned into a stick!

And this is a good thing, I hasten to add! Just a startling one. Obviously I haven't seen any full-length pictures of you in quite some time. And exactly how tall /are/ you, anyway?

Everybody says that, but I still see some serious room for improvement on my part.

On the highway she clears around 19 miles per gallon. I did some mixed highway and city driving over the weekend (heavier on highway than anything else) and saw around 17 miles per. It's certainly no worse than my old pickup despite the larger engine (5.4L v8 engine as opposed to my old 4.9L inline six) and heavier weight.
