Date: 2003-10-14 08:25 pm (UTC)Got it in one... I find a banner advertisement for Microsoft displayed prominently on Slashdot to be absolutely hilarious, the irony here being that Slashdot's primary purpose in life is (was?) Linux advocacy and decrying the tyrrany of Microsoft.
Yet in the end it is Microsoft's advertising revenue that's helping keeping their servers lit.
Mmm, irony can be so delicious.
