Off I go to Rockford. I'm such a damned geek, I stop and check to make sure I have my cell phone and my Visor before I even step out the door. It's odd, but I feel naked without those two devices hanging on my belt.

Anyways, I'll write on Sunday if I feel like it. I doubt when I get home tonight I'll be in much state to write anything.

California, it's druggy, druggy, druggy, druggy

Two, two, TWO geek-things in one!

I have the same need-em-both-not-to-feel-naked problemm, so, when I had to turn in my old Palm at my last job, I got a Palm Phone from Kyocera. A tad big it were just a phone, but it's not much bigger'n a Palm. Pricey, tho ...

I've seen those! One of my employer's Sun Microsystems representatives had one, and it was sort of interesting to poke at. I'm a firm believer in small, compact cell phones, which is why I like my Startack ST7800-series phone so much. Work, however, thinks they're too pricey so for our regular-issue phone they gave is Nokia 6100s. Not bad phones, but not my style, either.

I'd consider the Kyocera if I didn't already have my StarTac. For a brief while I had eyeballed a VisorPhone or OmniSky Wireless module for my Handspring Prism, but considering that I have two cells already (personal and work) and I liked my Prism's color and style too much to turn away for a two-in-one device, I ended up stayin where I'm at.

Maybe this only reinforces my geekiness, I dunno for certain.
