Today was a good day.

No, that doesn't do it justice. Let me try again:

Today was a Really. Good. Day.

I really can't find the words to describe how excited, upbeat and enthralled I am. My heart feels like it's going to simply burst and I don't think that I've stopped grinning yet. My vocabulary has utterly failed me for the moment, but I couldn't care less.... all that matters is that yes, it really did happen. Yes, those words really did appear and yes, they really were meant for me.

After something that wonderful everything that followed was inconsequential. My entire workday passed by me as if in a dream and I'm still walking three feet above the ground. I am, unsurprisingly, reminded of a time not long ago when I felt this same way because of the very same person.

I'm happy.
