The good: Winning a brand-new, never-used GPS unit on eBay for $40 cheaper than you can get it from a store (online or otherwise).
The other good: Finding out your credit score went up 48 points because you took care of some problems, making you a much more suitable candidate for a home loan.
The bad: ComEd bills that are $98, and you hadn't even turned on the air conditioning yet! This will be the summer of "bend over and spell run" electricity bills, I wager.
The ugly: House buying is a damn complicated thing. I wonder if I'll get out of it alive.
