Quality of rest

You know that you did not have a very good night's sleep when you wake up in the morning to find that your pajama bottoms had rolled three-quarters of the way up your legs. I guess I was tossing, turning and kicking a lot during the night.

The root cause is uncertain, right now. I'm not sure if I have too many things on my mind (I do), or if I just had one too many cups of coffee during dinner at Red Lobster last night (I did).

Oh well, today is a new day and I'll face it just the same.... even if I didn't get enough sleep last night.

Evening plans...

I'm gonna go hang out with chebutykin and her boyfriend tonight. My main agenda is simple: I want to go out with these two and eat a nice dinner. After that I figure we'll exchange belated Christmas presents, tour the Asylum and tip back a few drinks. I might crash for the night there and drive back to the farm in the morning, time will tell.

The time away from family will give me a much-needed chance to decompress, but mostly I'm looking forward to seeing my old friend and talking to her face-to-face again. It's been far too long, and I think both of us could benefit from engaging in a long night of palaver.
