Thirty words or less

Had Jury Duty on Tuesday. Sat most of the day, got a two hour lunch, was empaneled shortly after lunch and then sent home by the judge because the case was settled literally ten seconds before we walked in the door. Wanted to go back but wasn't summoned for Wednesday. Found out last night I'd been summoned for today, so I get another day off work and a chance to catch up on more of my reading.

With luck I'll be summoned for Friday as well.
