And my first not on IRC since 1994. Starting on IRC in mid-1995, I've been on at midnight every New Year's.

Actually, I cheated this year. While our hosts were getting out the Korbel and the champagne glasses, I snuck my iBook on to the Internet courtesy of his WiFi and was logged in for, like, the five minutes before and after midnight, but I wouldn't count that, because about all I said was, "happy new year 2004!" and "*** Signoff: Frostbite (Leaving)" :D
