The return of Harfy Kitty

This morning Ra vomited again. For those of you playing the home game, here are the surfaces he christened today:

one magazine

four unique, separate carpets (and on one of the carpets he puked in two different places)

a plastic floor mat

one of my boots

the wood floor in the hallway

So now I get to play the "alter his dosage" game to see if I can shock his IBD/CP back into a dormant state before it really gets a chance to get rolling.

The most horrible, funny moment was after I collected some paper towels and a bag, retuning to the hallway to see my mother scraping together a pile of vomit with her foot. "What the hell are you doing?!" I asked. "I thought it was just a really large pile of dust," she said. "I didn't realize it was the cat. Now give me a towel so I can clean off my shoe."

Sorry to hear about that. I always hate cleaning up Buster and Angel's upheavals. Thankfully if they happen anymore they tend to be down in the basement, though it doesn't do much for trying to make our basement a family room. =/

Fortunately for my sanity Ra has learned that After The Pill Comes Food, so he actually sits still and perhaps even welcomes his dosing.

IBD: Inflammatory Bowel Disease
CP: Chronic Pancreatitis

Those are the two main conditions Ra's afflicted with. He's on a lifelong prescription of a steroid that usually does a good job of suppressing any relapses, but for some reason the seasonal changes seem to cause him to get sick for a short period of time.
