I'll tell you, moving to NetBackup from Legato was a huge step up.

That said, yeah, I agree. Fuck them in the eye. It took me awhile to figure out that the reason my clients weren't being backed up was because they needed to be able to resolve the server's hostname via DNS. Of course, no logs or any other hints were supplied.
