Ordinarily I'd say 'Other' on the game rentals and go with GameTap.com, but since you've just got the Wii, and the limited number of worthy titles, your best bet is just getting the one or two interesting ones from Hollywood Video and making a decision on that. Just my $.02.

Oh, and I picked Picasa because it's unblocked from work. :D

For my 'Other', I recommend at least checking out GameFly. It's like NetFlix for video games, and I imagine with the work schedule keeping things crazy, the whole 'no late fees' aspect may be nice. Drawback that I've heard of is, they don't have nearly the NetFlix infrastructure yet, so it's not quite as quick with turnaround.

Crap, that's what I meant...GameFly, not Gametap.

I'm old. Websites confuse me. Get off my lawn!

Unrelated to your questions, we are having crazy fun with the second Rayman Raving Rabbids game. Good for crowds, too!

My personal experience is that Hollywood Video has less of a selection than Blockbuster.

We've been happy with Blockbuster's selection, particularly since we do their through-the-mail rentals for movies. You get coupons through it that you can use for games. I THINK they run the gamefly service; not sure.

We rented Boom Blox from them for the weekend. The Co-op on that is AWESOME, esp if you two enjoy playing games together and like puzzles like Jenga, etc. It's really awesome, and some of the puzzles were insanely hard, but really fun.

Also, I may be partially biased b/c it let me make a penguin personality.

We don't rent games, so I have no info for you there - other than while our Blockbuster exp. has been mediocre, at least there've been no major disasters. Never tried rental-by-mail at all. *shrug*

I have Picasaweb, DA, and Photobucket. Photobucket is 'eh but functional'... I don't really use my DA at all, other than to save favorite-d stuffs, but the little I've used Picasa so far I've really liked.
I haven't heard of the others at all. o_0

I said "other" for the rental question since I basically have that same question to ask.

I picked Flickr - Photo sharing! because I got used to it before I signed up for Picasa and Zooomr (which is much closer to Flickr than Picasa is). And Yahoo haven't managed to ass Flickr up yet. But whatever photo sharing service you use, at least it's not Photobucket! Bandwidth always exceeded!

I just buy games and keep them forever. Learned a long time ago not to sell them off since I still enjoy cranking up even crusty oldies like Quake or Yar's Revenge now and then, so renting would only be useful to me for checking out a title I'm unsure if I want to buy or not.

Why not use black-panther for image hosting?
