Fireworks from the 2008 celebration of Independence Day at Mystic Lake Casino in Prior Lake, MN. There's a certain horrible irony about tiny remnants of the once-vast Dakota nation putting on a fireworks display to celebrate the independence of the nation that robbed them of land, life and for no small period of time, liberty.

Thanks. I was really pleased with how this turned out, in part because of how well the smoke is illuminated. It's not the most colorful or prettiest shot of fireworks ever, but the white balance and illumination of the trails worked out so well I had to use this one.
