Who knew that every time I showed up in my Toy Soldier outfit at MFF I was helping to ruin the con experience for everyone around me?

Wow that was silly.

Cons are one of the FEW places the average person can dress up in costume publicly at all. I think people doing that are only adding to the character of the con, not taking away the furriness of it. In my brain, furry is supposed to be something of a creative outlet. Some people in this fandom don't WANT to get into a suit, or where partials for one reason or another but may have a lot of fun just dressing up at something else instead, as opposed to walking around in street clothes. Geez, way to try and take the fun out of cons! ;p

I'd recommend a partial over a full costume. I think they look much better with clothing.
