CONvergence used the Cone of Shame to shame people who did wrong, but it quickly devolved into being a "pass the item around/meet your fellow attendees" joke. I was at the end of a panel, cleaning up camera gear, and THUTP! I got that put on me. Had to go to Ops, be shamed, and then I got a button for it and had to pass the Cone on to somebody else.
