They really should give comp time for this kind of shit when you're salaried. Yes, this is the ideal time to do this kind of thing, I understand the reasoning and all and I've been present for this kind of cutover in a previous life. But there also needs to be some kind of additional recognition for allowing not just yourself but your whole family to be shit on in this fashion.
