The benefit to living in Illinois, in a well-populate suburb, and working in Information Technology is... you don't have to worry about ticks.

Yes, I was reminiscing to my youth on the farm in Minnesota today, and suddenly that comparison came to me. It's better if you don't ask why.

I picked up a tick once, after walking in some really high weeds while working for FS.

It ended up high on my neck, underneath hair. *shudder* To say I was squicked would be an understatement.
