The planet is fine, the people are fucked. It's only been here 4.5 billion years, and humans have been around for... 200,000, tops? And we have the conceit to think that we're a threat?

Ah yes, George Carlin. He has such interesting viewpoints and insights, doesn't he? I should go pick up his other two books sometime, I read Brain Droppings and it was damn funny. I got my sig file from that book.
