You know what would be really funny? It'd be really funny if all the disgruntled employees in my group were to actually follow through on their threats and go find new jobs. The potential for humor here is if all five of us tossed our two-week resignation letters on the manager's desk on the same day, maybe ten or fifteen minutes apart from each other. The look on Al's face would be classic, I suspect. Not to mention a 95% turnover of the group's workforce on the SAME DAY might sent a signal to the upper management that something is horribly, terribly awry in my department.
