I have to make up the hour and a half that I was late today thanks to traffic, so I am working late. The even better part is that we've still got network problems, so I may be staying even later.

I love how being exempt almost always works in the favor of the employer.

"Boss, the equipment you gave us isn't cutting it, this project's gonna take an extra 30 hours to complete."
"That's okay, you can do that 15 on Saturday, and 15 Sunday!"

"Boss, I got stuck in traffic for 2 hours this morning."
"Wow, I hate it when that happens. Don't worry, you can make those 2 hours up later tonight."
