Date: 2001-10-24 07:41 am (UTC)For all my moderate knowledge of today's computer systems, you forget that, yes, I did once hook up my Commodore VIC-20 to a number of motors and switches and managed to program it to turn the lights on and open the door to my room. Of course, it blew up in a shower of sparks and ozone shortly afterward... but it counts for a lot.

Date: 2001-10-26 02:37 pm (UTC)I'm not sure, though, that the test measures only computer geekiness or whether the test measures general geekiness. (I think I just made those terms up.) Some of the questions are not really computer related, and answering unfavorably to them is probably what brought my score down.
