Really? Because I find that rubbing a little vaseline on dry skin helps ease the chafing, better than regular lotions. A little greasy/messy yes, but it works for me.
Yes, it has proven useful for this situation. I smeared a whole batch on my nose before I went to bed last night and it was glowing slightly less this morning, in fact it almost didn't hurt to blow my nose! Talk about something akin to a miracle... The vaseline seems to be helping keep at least some moisture in my skin and maybe it's even helping the chapping to heal. If it is, I'll keep wearing it, even if it is pretty disturbing to have this greasy substance on my skin. I still don't know what the hell I'm going to do with this entie tub that my parents gave me (what precisely are they trying to tell me, I wonder?), but at least I found something I can use it for.
