ferenIt's 6:10 in the morning. I was awoken by the sound of little black Ra feet pitter-pattering where they don't belong: on top of my systems shelf. As I groggily move to chase the cat off the keyboard so it stops beeping, I hear the sound of something glass hitting something metal... then, suddenly, my firewall's keyboard WON'T STOP BEEPING. I spend ten minutes pressing every button to make sure it isn't stuck, but it still won't stop beeping. It would seem that the cat has been studying my Sun system to find the prrrrfect key combination to lock it up.
Ultimately I ended up unplugging the keyboard, because I couldn't take the noise anymore. Tomorrow I will have to plug it back in and pray that it isn't still stuck in repeat, otherwise I'll have a break sent to the firewall that I won't be able to undo, leaving me with a firewall that won't route packets.
New rule: Ra goes into his carrier every night at 10pm and is only released at 7:30am when I get up for work.

The problem with confining him to the bathroom is that I'm guessing a new roll of toilet paper on a daily basis gets expensive. I still wanna know how he does that.
